My primary care doctor send me to Fatima to get seen and get check to make sure after passing out episode back on 12/28/2024. I arrive at Fatima around 5pm,so far everything was fine until new walking started coming in to get check, anyways I got a little bit upset because during the waiting period , I was sitting in the waiting room and they started calling new register patients and living the people that were already waiting and waiting. I decided to walk to the triage window and started to complain the second shift nurse (Jackie) who took me right in and put me in a room right away to get my ekg started, Jackie thank you so so much Fatima hospital need more people like you thank you so so much! Not sure if you get to see and read my review but thank you so much to you and the doctor Rivard you guys were amazing thank you. (JS) and Leah rivard and of course the registry team at front. Didn’t mean to be angry at the front desk it’s not their fault they are only there to register the patients!
Best regards

Dr. Elevado is a kind, caring practitioner. The staff are very helpful.
No hospital is perfect especially when you’re sick. I feel this is best in the area. The employees are very nice and not as busy as other hospitals.
Took wife in, admitted her and out within a week
Very happy with staff. From a scale of 1-10 they were definitely a 15.

I am shocked by all the reviews. I spent almost two days here, the staff were kind and professional. I noticed when patients don’t get their way, they go crazy on staff. What others are probably seeing are staff that are emotionally drained from dealing with very tough individuals that kick them down when all they’re trying to do is help. Now multiply a single patient by let’s say 15 per shift.
I highly recommend this hospital. Be kind and understanding as they are humans too, and I’m sure they will be in return. Josh in emergency though seems to be overly stressed by the job. I hope they give him the resources he needs to effectively help himself while he’s helping others. Everyone was great. Thanks!!!❤️

Best,
I was having a major issue with my copd early Sunday morning. I was fighting to get air. My wife called Johnston rescue less than 1 mile away. I was able to walk out on my own, with assistance. They asked where did I want to go. My wife’s last experience with RI hospital was beyond what I could have imagined. She was in a car accident and we waited, no lie, 5.5 hours! 5.5 hours! I asked the rescue team, where would you go. He said Fatima would be his choice. I am so grateful he said that. I had never been there, but it is my hospital of choice in RI. ( I am a former Mass res, and I do like Milford hospital).
My point, the staff was all over me, I got into a room after one was cleared, maybe 2 hours? I checked into room 109,( hi to all the beautiful people working there!) and they where all in on my care! Everyone, nurses, can, the Dr was amazing, heck, even house keeping! And one thing I was impressed with, the food! I have known several hospital cooks and it’s a very tough business. So many diets to think about. I have refused food in other hospitals because it is always bad, but not here. To be honest, I will give it a 6-7 rating. I actually had a killer hamburger. I got a side salad, and plenty of mayo. I used mayo and some lettuce from salad, plus tomato that was already on there. I loved the bun, and hamburger was dang good. I loved scrambled eggs,( not my fav eggs) and they were perfect! Please, please give the kitchen some love today! The richly deserve it!
The care, the people, the room, and the food was such a pleasant surprise! God Bless Fatima Hospital.

Thorough, kind and good bedside manner. Would recommend him.
The people are professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. I've had 2 surgeries done there and both times were the best I could hope for.
I brought my mother there to be evaluated and we received such great care. There was a little wait in between registration, being triaged and seen by MD, but I don't mind and expect that in order for the professionals to do their jobs correctly. My mother was treated and released in 6 hrs which is fair. I think the staff were absolutely amazing. They always explained what they were doing from labs, EKG, and chest X-ray. Dr. Jeff is wonderful! Kudos to all for doing a superb job!
I have gone to OLofF hospital emergency room and received very good care there on two occasions. I recommend this hospital not only for their thorough exam but also for it's kind and gentle staff. No one there has ever been rude, haughty, dismissive, or irritable even when they are very busy and short staffed. This attitude sets Fatima apart from my local hospital ER and others.
They treated my uncle with great care, respect and hospitality. They kept the family up to date and informed on all procedures and progress every day. Everyone from the doctors, nurses, cnas, security and all staff were friendly and helpful.
My mom was in the CCU until she passed. She had a cardic arrest and never recovered.I cannot say enough good things about the staff in the CCU. They were kind and compassnate and took outstanding care of my mom. They also were so good to us as well. UT was a very difficult time. But with their help we got through it. Special thanks to Mike who was there at the end. And Dr Calikyan who kept us informed and was genuinely compassionate. Thank you all again.
Wonderful bedside manner. Very kind and professional.
I went in with severe abdominal pain, vomiting and fevers. I signed in, there was only one other person waiting. I needed a bathroom desperately but there were none in the waiting room and no one was in the triage room. After about 45 minutes I found a registration person to let me in the back to use the bathroom. The triage nurse finally called me in, took my vital signs and told me to go back into the waiting room. I asked if I could stay in the “flex” area where the bathroom was.
The triage nurse took her coffee out of the room and not one single person was seen for over an hour! I was vomiting and in severe pain. I ask a LPN if I could get some fluids and Zofran. She basically was extremely rude to me and said “We are on downtime!” It was about another 45 minutes before a nurse came out asked me my name and got me to a room.
Once I was in an ER bed, it was completely different! The doctor came over right away, got me to CT Scan, fluids, Zofran and pain meds all within 45 minutes. The nurses were wonderful and quick. I was admitted with a perforated diverticulitis which could have been deadly so the fact that triage was not triaging correctly, concerns me!
I was extremely surprised and happy on the care that I received once I was admitted. Ceclia on 7p-7a was wonderful! Always explaining the plan and what she was doing. They powered through “downtime” along with my doctor and his PA.

Although it was a bit further away from us and my husband could not wait for my procedure to be finished. I still gave it 4 stars. It was so very clean, the staff were so nice and efficient and they're routine ran so smoothly. If they just add a family waitng room, it would be a 5 star.
