My primary care doctor send me to Fatima to get seen and get check to make sure after passing out episode back on 12/28/2024. I arrive at Fatima around 5pm,so far everything was fine until new walking started coming in to get check, anyways I got a little bit upset because during the waiting period , I was sitting in the waiting room and they started calling new register patients and living the people that were already waiting and waiting. I decided to walk to the triage window and started to complain the second shift nurse (Jackie) who took me right in and put me in a room right away to get my ekg started, Jackie thank you so so much Fatima hospital need more people like you thank you so so much! Not sure if you get to see and read my review but thank you so much to you and the doctor Rivard you guys were amazing thank you. (JS) and Leah rivard and of course the registry team at front. Didn’t mean to be angry at the front desk it’s not their fault they are only there to register the patients!
Best regards
Second shift at Fatima today thank you !
Very happy with staff. From a scale of 1-10 they were definitely a 15.
I highly recommend this hospital. Be kind and understanding as they are humans too, and I’m sure they will be in return. Josh in emergency though seems to be overly stressed by the job. I hope they give him the resources he needs to effectively help himself while he’s helping others. Everyone was great. Thanks!!!❤️
Best,
My point, the staff was all over me, I got into a room after one was cleared, maybe 2 hours? I checked into room 109,( hi to all the beautiful people working there!) and they where all in on my care! Everyone, nurses, can, the Dr was amazing, heck, even house keeping! And one thing I was impressed with, the food! I have known several hospital cooks and it’s a very tough business. So many diets to think about. I have refused food in other hospitals because it is always bad, but not here. To be honest, I will give it a 6-7 rating. I actually had a killer hamburger. I got a side salad, and plenty of mayo. I used mayo and some lettuce from salad, plus tomato that was already on there. I loved the bun, and hamburger was dang good. I loved scrambled eggs,( not my fav eggs) and they were perfect! Please, please give the kitchen some love today! The richly deserve it!
The care, the people, the room, and the food was such a pleasant surprise! God Bless Fatima Hospital.
The triage nurse took her coffee out of the room and not one single person was seen for over an hour! I was vomiting and in severe pain. I ask a LPN if I could get some fluids and Zofran. She basically was extremely rude to me and said “We are on downtime!” It was about another 45 minutes before a nurse came out asked me my name and got me to a room.
Once I was in an ER bed, it was completely different! The doctor came over right away, got me to CT Scan, fluids, Zofran and pain meds all within 45 minutes. The nurses were wonderful and quick. I was admitted with a perforated diverticulitis which could have been deadly so the fact that triage was not triaging correctly, concerns me!
I was extremely surprised and happy on the care that I received once I was admitted. Ceclia on 7p-7a was wonderful! Always explaining the plan and what she was doing. They powered through “downtime” along with my doctor and his PA.
